In 2021, from the ashes of a stalled world, Dednamez rose out of San Marcos/Austin with something loud to say. What began on DIY stages and protest platforms soon roared into festival spotlights across Texas.
Rooted in first-wave punk and fueled by raw, angsty reflections on queer identity and anarchy, their sound is urgent, unapologetic, and impossible to ignore. Every show is a wild, sweaty, defiant spectacle powered by community.
At their core, Dednamez is about more than music. They hold space, amplify LGBTQ+ and alt voices, and give back to causes that match their convictions. This band is proof that punk is still protest, still community, still alive and we are beyond stoked to lead the charge for their booking needs.

Throat Piss describes themselves as ‘swampy blackened sludgecore,’ and we tend to agree.
Here’s more about the band in their own words: “Deep in the gutters of Austin, Texas, lies a visceral sound of trembling lows and smokey highs. A constant reminder of existential dread and animosity. A group emerges as a stoner with a 7-string, a sexy sax man, a very pissed off woman, and a huge disappointment. We’re Throat Piss, we’re heavy, and we don’t take anything seriously.”
